Anne Angel
Anne AngelDavid S. Brown Enterprises has appointed Anne Angel, CPM, as vice president of its residential division. In this role, she will have oversight of the marketing and leasing activities for the Maryland company’s Baltimore City and County apartment communities portfolio. Angel has over 30 years of business and real estate experience, including positions at R Home Property Management and Continental Realty Corp.
Dawn Carpenter
Dawn CarpenterThe New York State Association of REALTORS® has named Dawn Carpenter, CPM, the recipient of its 2018 Lawrence B. Caldwell RPAC Service Award, the highest honor presented by the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) of New York. Carpenter is the broker-owner of Dawning Real Estate in Staten Island, N.Y. The award recognizes her support of RPAC and the ways in which she epitomizes the role of REALTOR®.
Rhode Island-based Corvias, AMO, has expanded its public-private partnership with Howard University, to renovate the Howard Center for use as additional student housing. As part of this expansion, Corvias will manage the property and work with Gilbane Building Company to renovate the 90,157-square-foot building into housing, resident amenities, retail and meeting space. The project is targeted for completion in August 2019.
David Maling
David MalingAvison Young, AMO, announced that it has brought David Maling, CPM, on board as principal and member of a group known as the Maling-Barnes team. As part of this team, Maling will focus on expanding Avison Young’s retail office and industrial investment sales practices nationally and in Southern California, while also working with other investment sales specialists companywide. Prior to this appointment, Maling served as executive vice president of retail services for Colliers, AMO.
Stephanie Miller
Stephanie MillerStephanie Miller, CPM, received a promotion to the position of vice president of asset management at Eastwind Development, LLC, in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Miller has been with the company since 2015, serving as director of asset management, where she was responsible for overseeing the Eastwind portfolio and supervising the property management companies it’s retained.
Julie Stevlingson
Julie StevlingsonChanges have been taking place at Draper and Kramer, AMO, including some added leadership responsibilities for Julie Stevlingson, CPM, who’s been with the Chicago firm for five years. In addition to her current duties as senior vice president and director of management services, she will now oversee Draper and Kramer’s construction services and property operations.
