Even before IREM was chartered in June of 1934, the first issue of The Journal of Real Estate Management (now named Journal of Property Management) was published as a quarterly publication. Right from the outset, it was a highly respected academic journal, largely due to the depth and quality of the articles it published. In 1966, the journal went from a quarterly to bimonthly publication. The Journal of Property Management (JPM) is today an esteemed source of content for real estate management professionals.
