Latest news about the IREM Certified Sustainable Property (CSP) certification program.
The IREM Certified Sustainable Property (CSP) certification program continues to gain momentum, with more than 100 properties recently certified. These office buildings, multifamily communities and shopping centers have demonstrated sustainability performance in Energy, Water, Health, Recycling and Purchasing categories and have committed to continuous improvement in their green initiatives.
The CSP framework can be used to elevate a property in many ways, from creating a sustainability program from scratch or identifying gaps in established programs, to helping owners enhance their external sustainability reporting.
And stay tuned for upcoming enhancements to the CSP program, including a new online application process and new property types, such as medical office buildings and senior housing communities.
